Below are some concepts for Under Armour retail at the University of Utah bookstore.
 
The objective of these designs for both men and women’s clothing is to make sure there is a consistency in visual details that can capture new and existing buyers in a meaningful way. Using the existing Utah Athletics brand guidelines, the key colors of red, grey and black were used to create the artwork.
 
Mountain imagery present in both women’s and men’s retail were inspired by the Red Butte Canyon located near the University campus. Geometric shapes inspired by Ute pottery created patterns used for athlete uniforms and elements for retail. Pieces of the patterns can be seen in both men and women’s gear. Secondary patterns were inspired by pottery laying black and white shapes over abstract color prints.
